Proudly member-owned, Wadsley House Social Club has been at the heart of the community for over 100 years. Rich in history and tradition, the club combines its heritage with modern facilities to provide a welcoming place for members, families and guests to relax and socialise.

Our comfortable lounge offers a friendly, relaxed atmosphere with cosy seating, a wide-screen TV and direct access to our well-stocked bar, where you'll find an excellent selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks — all at great value.

For those who enjoy a game, the club features a dedicated snooker room with two full-sized tables and bar access, while our games room includes a pool table, dartboard and TV, making it a space the whole family can enjoy.

Set within attractive private grounds, the club also benefits from a large car park, a beautifully maintained bowling green and pavilion, outdoor seating, and a spacious grassed area where children can play safely. Our thriving volunteer group helps take care of those buildings, gardens and bowling green, helping to keep the club and its surroundings always looking their best.

Our volunteer group also organise special events both for the community and for our membership, a membership that reflects the welcoming nature of the club, from young families who enjoy the freedom and space of the grounds to members who have been part of Wadsley House for 50 years or more.

We have a ground-floor function room is available to hire for a wide range of occasions, including birthday celebrations, anniversaries, christenings, small weddings and funeral receptions. With flexible layouts and a welcoming atmosphere, it's the ideal venue for bringing family and friends together.
